Job Summary:The Specification Sales Manager Architectural Aluminium will be responsible for selling our clients designed, extruded and distributed range of curtain walling, high performance windows & doors, window walling, architectural hardware, solar shading and natural ventilation applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Influencing architects to win specifications for façade, window and glazing applications
- Managing live aluminium fabricators on patch
- Targeting commercial projects such as healthcare, retail, office plus some high end residential, but with a focus on education/ schools
- Generating £1.75million of specification work
- Project sizes typically around £75,000 metal (aluminium) value but can vary from £2,000 - £500,000
- Project managing the specification through the tendering process to metal order and project completion
- Specification Sales Manager Architectural Aluminium experience with 2 years+ proven field sales track record within architectural specification sales
- Façade, curtain walling, window/ glazing system, building envelope backgrounds preferred
- Open to a fabrication background, either sales or estimating looking for first field sales opportunity
- Stable career history, no job hoppers
- Technical knowledge of products
- Team player
- Autonomous in nature
- Hungry, tenacious with bags of energy / get up and go
