Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician to become a vital part of our client's welcoming and diverse workforce.

As a key member of the maintenance team, you will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and be tasked with ensuring the optimal performance of mechanical and electrical systems within the facility. Your efforts will be crucial in maintaining operational efficiency and minimizing disruptions to production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis on recurring or significant equipment failures, providing detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Implement and oversee Preventative Maintenance schedules, suggesting enhancements where necessary.

This position is ideal for individuals with a background in maintenance engineering, technical service, or field engineering, particularly those with expertise in automated industrial machinery.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of a City & Guilds engineering qualification or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline.
  • Proficient in performing mechanical and electrical servicing of equipment.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot using electrical schematics.
  • Confident in diagnosing issues with PLC systems.
