Role Overview:
As a Sales-Focused Customer Engagement Specialist, you will serve as the welcoming face of our establishment, fostering a friendly and positive atmosphere for all members and visitors. Your main objective will be to drive sales and contribute to the expansion of our membership base while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Member Interaction:** Welcome and greet members and guests upon entry, creating a warm and professional environment.
2. **Sales Promotion:** Actively promote membership options, personal training packages, and additional services to potential members. Meet individual and team sales goals through proactive outreach, including managing walk-ins, phone inquiries, web leads, and scheduled tours.
3. **Customer Support:** Address member inquiries, concerns, or issues, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and retention. Provide comprehensive information about club facilities, classes, and services.
4. **Administrative Tasks:** Oversee member accounts, process payments, and manage daily administrative responsibilities related to front desk operations. Ensure accurate documentation of member interactions and sales activities.
5. **Facility Oversight:** Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas. Ensure the smooth operation of the check-in process and monitor access to the facility.
6. **Team Collaboration:** Collaborate closely with other team members to support overall club operations and foster a positive work environment.
7. **Sales Analysis:** Track and report daily sales activities, providing insights and feedback to management regarding sales performance and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- **Sales Background:** Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably within the fitness, hospitality, or retail sectors.
- **Customer Service Expertise:** Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- **Passion for Fitness:** A genuine interest in health and fitness, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- **Proactive Mindset:** Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
