About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our engineering teams at International Personal Finance. Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a subject matter expert in software engineering, leading the design and implementation of software systems to deliver and enhance the functionality of our in-house developed Credit Card solution.
  • Lead a SCRUM development team or teams of software professionals to design, develop, and test software to deliver and enhance the functionality of our Credit Card solution.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the Group IT Strategy, working closely with the Architecture team and Solution Delivery teams to ensure solutions are aligned to IT strategy.
  • Manage the timely delivery of software solutions in a variety of technology areas, matching business requirements to technology and shaping appropriate solutions across multiple global and market systems.
  • Be responsible for the technical management of external suppliers, leading internal and external teams to deliver software solutions in a variety of technology areas.
  • Provide strategic expert advice and consultation on the development and implementation of effective Group and market IT solutions.
  • Be the primary point of contact representing the development team or teams, communicating regularly regarding the status of current software delivery activities.
Requirements
  • A proven track record of excellent software development capabilities within various SDLC models, with a focus on agile delivery, particularly the SCRUM development framework in a variety of technology environments.
  • Ability to work independently, take responsibility, and lead a team of software developers.
  • Strong technical skills in software engineering, with experience in.NET microservices,.NET Web APIs, React, and cloud native AWS infrastructure.
  • Experience with automated pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Up-to-date working knowledge of industry best practice in software engineering and development.
