Senior Analyst Programmer

Interface Recruitment UK is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst Programmer to lead and manage a team of software developers in Leeds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate, analyse, build, test, deploy, and support fit-for-purpose application software changes to specified requirements, deadlines, and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain application development standards and recommend new tools and approaches to improve quality, speed, and cost of software development.
  • Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identify and implement process changes, methodologies, skills, and tools to improve development team efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the IT Development Manager to set objectives and manage team performance.
  • Ensure cross-training is available to all team members to remove single resource dependencies.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in.NET and C#.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and managing a team of software developers.
  • Excellent technical skills, with the ability to plan and execute technical testing, deployment, and support activities.
  • Strong business analysis and issue/problem management skills, with the ability to plan for short and long-term goals.
  • Experience working on projects using a recognised methodology, such as Agile, and SQL Server Integration Services/Data Transformation Packages.
