Position Title: Class 1 ADR Tanker Operator

Job Type: Part-Time / Holiday Relief

Working Hours: Minimum guarantee of 10 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with potential overnight stays. Pay rate is £50 per hour for the first 10 hours, with £50 per hour for any additional hours worked beyond that. Payments are made weekly. An overtime scheme is available after exceeding 10 hours in a day.

Training: Comprehensive training lasting one to two weeks will be provided, including any necessary renewal training (such as CPC & ADR), which will be covered by the company.

Role Overview: As a Class 1 ADR Tanker Operator, you will initially work alongside one of our experienced driver trainers to learn the safe delivery and collection of various trailers and chemicals. Your primary responsibility will be to cover the holidays of our full-time drivers, which may amount to up to 22 weeks of coverage annually.

Ideal Candidate: This position is well-suited for individuals seeking to reduce their working hours or those looking for part-time employment to stay engaged. All necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided prior to the commencement of your training.

Work Environment: Your weekly assignments will vary, but you will consistently return to our depot throughout the week. The transport team will allocate jobs to you, making effective communication essential for reporting any delays, issues, or relevant information.

Essential Qualifications:
• Valid C+E license
• Minimum of one year’s experience in Class 1 tanker operations
• Valid Digital Tachograph
• Current ADR license (all classes except 1 & 7 in tanks is advantageous but not mandatory).
