Work Schedule:

Average of 55-60 hours weekly, Monday to Friday. This role includes overnight stays, with a guarantee of 4 nights out per week, though some weeks may require 1-3 nights.


Compensation:
£53,820 annually based on 10 hours of overtime each week.
Weekly pay structure.
~ Overtime opportunities available after 10 hours of daily work.
~ 20 days of annual leave plus public holidays.
~ Assigned personal vehicle.
~ Trucks are cleaned and prepared before any new driver begins their duties.
~ Comprehensive training lasting two to three weeks, including any necessary renewal training (CPC & ADR) funded by the employer.
~ Optional pension scheme available.
~ This is a stable role within a welcoming, family-oriented organization, featuring an office team member with prior driving experience.

Job Responsibilities:
Class 1 ADR Tanker Operator:

During the initial two to three weeks, you will be partnered with a driver trainer to learn the safe handling and transportation of various trailers and chemicals.

All necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided before commencing your role.

Your assignments will vary weekly, with regular returns to the depot throughout the week.

The transport team will continuously allocate tasks, making effective communication essential for reporting any delays, challenges, or pertinent information.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
Class 1 ADR Tanker Operator:
Valid C+E driving license.
Minimum of one year’s experience in Class 1 driving.
Valid digital tachograph card.

A current ADR certification, excluding classes 1 & 7 in tanks, is advantageous but not mandatory.
