Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our Financial Management team at Kent and Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust.

This role will involve undertaking detailed expenditure analysis, establishment control, and forecasting for a Directorate, as well as supporting the production of monthly financial reports.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for proactively investigating variances and providing analytical reports as required.

Main Duties of the Job

The post holder will be responsible for completing a wide range of tasks supporting the main body of Management Accounts, including regular journals, checking of invoices received, and raising invoices to third parties.

The successful candidate will also need to meet with budget holders on a regular basis within the Directorates and prepare forecasts based on these.

The role will also involve helping with the year-end accounts, ensuring all reconciliations are complete and up to date, analysis, and assisting with the improvement of processes and methodologies within the team.
