AWS DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with a strong development background to join our team at Opus Recruitment Solutions Ltd.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the migration of AWS infrastructure using Kubernetes, ECS, and 'lift and shift' strategies to ensure seamless transition and optimal performance.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform to maintain scalability and efficiency.
- Optimize and maintain cloud-native applications in a fintech environment, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Extensive experience with AWS services, particularly ECS, EKS, and related technologies, with a strong focus on cloud security and compliance.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration, with expertise in designing and implementing scalable and secure containerized applications.
- Strong background in software development, with experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Expertise in Terraform and infrastructure as code practices, with a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.
- In-depth understanding of fintech/banking sector requirements and regulations, including PCI-DSS compliance in cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with secure, scalable payment processing systems using AWS services, with a focus on high-availability architectures and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements specific to financial services, such as GDPR and MiFID II.
- Duration: 6-9 months.
- IR35 Status: Inside IR35.
- Location: Fully Remote.
- Day Rate: £450-£550 per day.
The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced fintech environment, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
