Mongoose Gray is a fast-growing software scale-up based in the Thames Valley Corridor. We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team.
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to work on our hybrid infrastructure and application development projects. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with IaC, PaaS, and FaaS.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid infrastructure solutions using AWS services.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects in CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform regression testing and code and infrastructure changes to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Leverage configuration management tools like Chef, Ansible, and Terraform to manage infrastructure as code.
- Monitor system performance and reliability to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Ensure server-based deployments are robust and manageable.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and release of applications.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and bug tracking software.
- Excellent understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with IaC, PaaS, and FaaS.
- Experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, and Lambda.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Chef, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 per annum, hybrid working on a 3+2 basis, and the opportunity to work with a fast-growing software scale-up.
