Production Engineering - Assembly and Integration Overview:


As a Production Engineering Specialist within the assembly manufacturing facility, your primary objective will be to ensure that our products are constructed efficiently and within budget constraints.

As a vital member of the Production Engineering team, you will engage in activities that support multi-project manufacturing initiatives.

  • Development and revision of Production Instructions.
  • Design, commissioning, and validation of related tooling.
  • Facilitation of the industrial validation process utilizing FMEA's, FAI's, etc.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues that may occur during the manufacturing cycle.
  • Adjustments to route cards due to rework activities.
  • Oversight of Configuration Control through the integration of Design Modifications into the Production Instructions.
  • Assistance with the Non-Conformance Process using SAP.
Role Requirements (skills, training, and qualifications)

  • Formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21.
  • Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent certificate.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in an engineering field.

  • Proficient in interpreting Design Drawings to create Production Build Instructions for both Skilled and Semi-Skilled operators.
  • Experience in Electronic Sub Assembly manufacturing through to System level builds.
  • Knowledge of the assembly process for small/miniature Electro-Mechanical Actuation Systems.
