About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Space Systems Engineer to join our team at Capgemini Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of space systems, including concept, development, validation, and verification.

As a Space Systems Engineer, you will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements. You will be responsible for leading end-to-end change management across the product V-cycle, supporting the formulation, decomposition, validation, and full traceability of system requirements, and planning, execution, and summarizing V&V tasks.

You will also be responsible for facilitating cross-functional team collaboration and liaising with specialists and discipline leads, test campaign support, test requests preparation, and results analysis, managing requirements and V&V using IBM Rational DOORS, technical documentation and analysis, and managing document release with the Windchill platform.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about space systems engineering and has a strong understanding of systems engineering theory and processes. Key Responsibilities
  • Concept, development, validation, and verification of space systems
  • Leading end-to-end change management across the product V-cycle
  • Supporting the formulation, decomposition, validation, and full traceability of system requirements
  • Planning, execution, and summarizing V&V tasks

Requirements
  • Proven experience and knowledge of space systems
  • Knowledge of V-cycle and change management process
  • Strong understanding of Systems Engineering theory and processes
  • Proven experience and knowledge of product development, validation, and verification
  • Knowledge and experience of aerospace testing, methods, and processes
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, and chemical propulsion
  • Experience using systems engineering tools including IBM Rational DOORS and Windchill
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite
