About the Role

TPF Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Taxation and Accounts Supervisor to join a reputable multi-site accountancy firm in North Kent. This role offers an exceptional work-life balance and a supportive, family-oriented atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Portfolio Management: Oversee a diverse portfolio including limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and individuals.
  • Service Delivery Oversight: Manage all facets of client service delivery, including year-end accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping, VAT, and CIS.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing accounts and tax inquiries as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Review work completed by junior staff, ensuring quality and resolving issues prior to submission.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Staff Development: Mentor and motivate junior team members, contributing to the overall management of daily operations.
Candidate Requirements
  • ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent with a minimum of 2-3 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a practice environment.
  • Proven ability to manage a client portfolio effectively.
  • Strong track record in establishing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
  • Experience with TaxCalc or similar accounting software is desirable but not mandatory.
