Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HGV technician to join our team at the H.W. Martin Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of vehicles and plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles and plant equipment
  • Conduct MOT preparation and testing
  • Work on a variety of vehicle makes and models
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with the latest repair and maintenance techniques
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant field
  • Recognized apprenticeship in a related trade
  • Proven experience in HGV maintenance and repair
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
