About the Role

At Permanent Futures, we are seeking a skilled Key Account Manager to join our diverse external field sales team. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a patch in the South, from Oxford to Chelmsford and Coventry to Cambridge, and increasing the year-over-year spend of existing key accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver quarter-by-quarter sales and margin growth in line with agreed targets for the assigned group of circa 60 key accounts.
    \t
  • Identify key competitor account opportunities and formulate plans to deliver and convert significant wins, ensuring maximum profitability from the right product and services mix.
    \t
  • Responsible for all commercial elements of the owned accounts through business analysis and business planning.
    \t
  • Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts, quotes, and any further documentation, with support from Operations, Legal, and Finance teams, following internal procedure.
    \t
  • Collaborate with assigned internal outbound sales agents that are assigned to your key accounts to ensure efficiency and support to the assigned account base.
    \


Requirements


  • \t
  • Previous experience with Key Account Management.
    \t
  • Understanding of P&L, profitable sales, and margin implications of particular sales and discounting policies.
    \t
  • Skilled negotiator of significant agreements with strong commercial acumen and numeracy.
    \t
  • Analytical experience and ability to interpret financial and sales data and results.
    \t
  • Clean driving license.
    \
