About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Randstad Construction & Property. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a crucial role in leading projects from pre-construction to delivery, ensuring contractual control and cost management across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the project team, working collaboratively with customers and industry specialists to add value and ensure best practice.
- Manage the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts, from procurement to final account agreement.
- Negotiate final accounts to achieve the best possible outcome.
- Manage and develop junior surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
Requirements:
- Main contractor experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the construction space.
- Experience with different contract forms and project delivery methods.
- Proven track record of managing projects with budgets ranging from £10m to £50m.
- Experience in establishing, managing, and leading large project teams.
