We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Scientist (Audiology) to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Scientist (Audiology), you will be responsible for providing high-quality audiological services to patients of all ages.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have significant post-degree experience in audiology, with a specialist interest in paediatric audiology. They will possess highly specialised knowledge of paediatric audiology acquired through a combination of in-depth experience and post-graduate/post-registration training.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical audiology services to patients, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and hearing aid fitting.
- Work collaboratively with the audiology team to maintain high-quality audiological services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of audiological services, including quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced staff, contributing to the professional development of the team.
- BSc/MSc in Audiology or equivalent qualification.
- Registered with the HCPC or AHCS.
- Significant post-degree experience in audiology, with a specialist interest in paediatric audiology.
