Lead Cybersecurity Assurance Specialist

Iceberg Cyber Security is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Cybersecurity Assurance Specialist to join our team in London. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for structuring and implementing our client's cybersecurity assurance program.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security consulting, security controls testing, or internal security audits. They will be passionate about improving security posture and have a drive to take ownership of an organization's Cyber GRC.

We are looking for someone who is motivated by greenfield projects and is happy being an individual contributor. The successful candidate will have exposure to the Financial Services or Financial Technology Industries and be able to test security controls using both manual and automated methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cybersecurity assurance programs
  • Conduct security controls testing and audits
  • Improve security posture and reduce risk
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in information security consulting, security controls testing, or internal security audits
  • Strong knowledge of security controls and risk management
  • Ability to test security controls using manual and automated methodologies
  • Passion for improving security posture and drive to take ownership of Cyber GRC
  • Exposure to Financial Services or Financial Technology Industries
