We Do Group is thrilled to collaborate with a rapidly expanding engineering and technology firm to recruit a commercially astute Financial Analyst. The ideal candidate will be eager to enhance their skills in Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Analysis while contributing to the Month-End Reporting process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute significantly to the annual budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
  • Drive and support all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to budgets, forecasts, and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales department to address finance-related inquiries.
  • Continuously enhance the new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to optimize reporting and operational processes.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors to ensure project timelines and operational goals are achieved.
  • Assist the core finance team during month-end reporting cycles.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory records for both on-site and off-site stock.
  • Oversee working capital management, including reporting and forecasting activities.
  • Work in tandem with procurement teams to develop forecasts and insights regarding committed expenses.
  • Monitor costs and report on variances effectively.
  • Take full responsibility for margin analysis and operational efficiencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • A solid understanding of supply chain processes is preferred.
  • Highly organized, persuasive, resourceful, flexible, ambitious, and self-motivated, with a strong commitment to achieving objectives and a willingness to challenge existing practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A collaborative team player.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £50,000 - £60,000.
