As a Support Worker with Age UK Tunbridge Wells, you will play a vital role in enabling older clients to live independently in their own homes. You will provide support with domestic tasks, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

  • Provide support with domestic tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Assist with shopping and medical appointments.
  • Support clients with social activities and outings.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, carers, and health service workers to ensure high-quality care.
  • Report any concerns or issues to the Service Co-ordinator.
  • Adhere to confidentiality principles and maintain professional boundaries.

  • A caring and empathetic attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures.
  • Good writing skills for documentation.
  • Smart mobile phone for work apps.
