Job Summary
Page Personnel Finance is seeking a highly skilled AP & Billings Manager to join their team on a 9-12 month interim contract. This role is ideal for someone with strong transactional finance experience and leadership skills.
About the Role
The AP & Billings Manager will play a pivotal part in the day-to-day transactional side of the finance function, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Key responsibilities include:
- Financial Transactions: Ensure purchase orders are placed and customer invoices are raised, and accurate recording of invoices and expenses.
- Payables Ledger Management: Maintain a tidy payables ledger with minimum debit balance and unallocated cash.
- Support and Training: Step in and support during particularly busy periods, train team members, and prepare and process payment runs.
- Bank Reconciliation: Daily posting and reconciliation of bank transactions.
- Cashflow Forecasting: Collaborate with the CFO to review and forecast cashflow.
- Interdepartmental Liaison: Liaise with other areas of the business to discuss cash in/cash out/outstanding balances.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- Previous experience in a similar position, with the ability to demonstrate strong transactional finance skills.
- Ideal experience in line management and leadership, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent accounting software skills and an eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
