Job Overview:

The Engineering Team is seeking a skilled Maintenance Reliability Engineer to join their Wolverhampton facility. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for analyzing data to predict and prevent equipment failures, implementing preventive maintenance actions, and performing root cause analysis to ensure lessons are learned and preventative maintenance planning is effective.

You will need to diagnose and communicate electrical and mechanical faults with machinery, ensuring production targets and objectives are met while promoting operational excellence. The role involves working Monday to Friday, 07:30am to 16:00pm, with occasional out-of-hours working and overtime required due to business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain equipment to the highest standard, ensuring optimal efficiency and delivery of targets.
  2. Use analytical tools to diagnose faults and develop corrective action plans.
  3. Collaborate with operators and shift technicians to identify and implement standard equipment settings through effective trials.
  4. Lead and drive PM compliance and top loss actions.
  5. Ensure equipment operates safely.
  6. Participate in safety-related activities such as near miss reporting and corrective actions.
  7. Focus on energy efficiency to optimize and deliver annual targets.
  8. Deliver PM targets and corrective actions % versus plan.
  9. Meet required standards in relation to Engineering GMP and safety standards.
Requirements:
  1. Ability to stand and/or sit for up to 8 hours or more per day, in various climates.
  2. Moderate to loud noise level – hearing protection is required.
  3. Fast-paced environment: subject to numerous priority changes and short-notice activity.
  4. Required to work with/around rubber, latex, and/or silicone during normal job duties.
  5. 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  6. Level 3 NVQ or ONC (Essential).
  7. PLC experience.
  8. GCSE Grade C and above or equivalent Maths and English.
  9. Proven working knowledge of plant maintenance and repairs including: Hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
  10. Able to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings.
  11. Able to work under pressure in a fast-growing business and meet tight deadlines.
  12. Understanding of health and safety processes and safe methods of working.
  13. Displays safe and considerate working practices.
