  • To assist in planning capital projects for new equipment installations and major repairs.
  • To collaborate with the Engineering Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement efficient solutions.
  • To lead initiatives that enhance machinery reliability, reduce production downtime, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • To maintain accurate records of fault issues, parts usage, and actions taken within the engineering department database.
  • To document all breakdowns, including faults, parts used, actions, and times.
Requirements
  1. An electrical bias with multi-skilled maintenance expertise.
  2. Prioritization of workload to ensure minimum production downtime.
  3. Up-to-date knowledge of electrical regulations.
  4. Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals to aid in repair and service.
  5. Demonstrated ability to apply root cause analysis/problem-solving processes.
  6. Experience working in a complex manufacturing environment, with exposure to CNC machinery being advantageous.
  7. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and plan own workload effectively.
Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £38,500 per annum, along with a range of benefits designed to support their career growth and well-being.
