Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Building Safety Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory duties as set out in the Building Safety Bill and Fire Safety Bill.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with all statutory duties, including managing properties in accordance with their Safety Case Report and ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Building Assurance Certificate.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all directions given and statutory notices issued by the Building Safety Regulator, including mandatory reporting and acting as the first point of contact with residents for complaints handling and information provision on the role of residents in building safety.
- Collaboration and Liaison: Liaise and co-operate with other occupiers and owners of properties to secure an integrated approach to managing building safety risks.
- Non-Compliance Management: Deal with and/or escalate any non-compliance issues appropriately.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of building safety regulations and legislation.
- Proven experience in managing building safety risks and ensuring compliance with statutory duties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
