About the Role
We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our team at Activate Group Limited. As a MET Technician, you will play a crucial role in the repair and maintenance of vehicles, ensuring that they are returned to their pre-accident condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Vehicle Inspection and Assessment: Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to identify the extent of the damage and determine the necessary repairs.
- Dismantling and Reassembly: Safely dismantle and reassemble vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications and industry standards.
- Repair and Replacement of Components: Replace damaged components with new or refurbished parts, ensuring that all repairs meet the highest standards of quality.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all repairs meet the required standards.
- Communication and Customer Service: Provide excellent communication and customer service skills to ensure that customers are satisfied with the repair process.
Requirements
- ATA / NVQ Level 3 in MET: Hold a recognized qualification in MET (Motor Vehicle Repair) or equivalent.
- Industry Experience: Have relevant industry experience and a proven track record of working as a repair technician.
- Good Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Health and Safety Awareness: Demonstrate a strong understanding of health and safety procedures and protocols.
