We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Professional to join our team at VP Forensic in Grimsby.

This role involves supporting a male client with Cerebral Palsy and Learning Disability, ADHD, and complex behaviour. Due to the nature of the role, we are only considering male applicants.

This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 as there is a genuine occupational need to recruit males due to the nature of the role.

You will need:

  • Caring, patient, and empathetic nature
  • Experience of communication with people at all levels and excellent communication skills
  • Motivation to make a difference to our clients
  • 6 months experience of supporting clients with a Learning Disability and Complex Behaviours
  • Full working rights to work in the UK (VP Forensic does not offer sponsorship)

Your role would include:

  • Supporting with daily living tasks, including maintaining a healthy diet, domestic responsibilities, and attending appointments
  • Prompting with personal care tasks
  • Cognitive and behavioural support via the use of effective management strategies
  • Access to meaningful activities in the community and within the home
  • Maintaining daily records

Salary:

£12.60 per hour

All successful candidates will require an enhanced DBS check, if not already registered on the update service. You will also be required to supply two satisfactory references.
