Role Overview
Are you driven by a passion for road safety and eager to contribute to the field of forensic investigation and collision analysis? TRL is seeking skilled individuals to join our talent pool, aiding in the enhancement of road safety through detailed research and investigation. We welcome both early-career graduates interested in our graduate program and seasoned professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive investigations and research pertaining to road collisions and related incidents.
- Gather, assess, and analyze evidence and data from multiple sources.
- Design and implement testing protocols and accident reconstructions, utilizing both physical methods and digital simulations.
- Draft thorough and balanced reports for a wide array of clients.
- Present findings and evidence in legal contexts when necessary.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders, collaborating with various teams and external partners to ensure precise and efficient data collection and analysis.
Required Skills & Experience
- A degree in a relevant discipline or substantial industry experience (biomechanics, mechanical engineering, or related fields).
- In-depth knowledge of injury biomechanics, collision investigation, or accident reconstruction.
- A valid UK driving license or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; expertise in data analysis and statistical modeling is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills, particularly in reviewing and providing feedback on technical documents and report writing.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Experience in presenting findings in Civil and Criminal Courts is a plus.
- Familiarity with safety equipment investigations (e.g., helmets, seatbelts) is beneficial.
