About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Pertemps TM. As a key member of our Technical Engineering Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment, including pressure vessels, pumps, compressors, piping, electrical and instrumentation systems, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Conduct statutory examinations and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead infrastructure projects to improve the efficiency and safety of our operations.
  • Identify and mitigate operational and regulatory risks to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Investigate and report any incidents or near-misses in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a strong knowledge of industry best practices and complete necessary training.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in mechanical and electrical engineering, with a strong understanding of process design, operation, and installation.
  • CompEx qualification and knowledge of relevant regulations, including PSSR, COMAH, ATEX, and CDM.
  • Strong computer literacy and ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Initiative to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex scenarios to non-technical colleagues.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and quality.
