About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Domestic Loss Adjuster to join our team at Sedgwick. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of domestic losses, from initial assessment to finalization of the claim.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations of domestic losses, gathering evidence and assessing the extent of damage.
  • Communicate effectively with policyholders, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of claims.
  • Develop and implement effective claims handling strategies to achieve fair and satisfactory settlements for all parties.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external specialists to ensure seamless claim resolution.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of claims activity, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in loss adjusting and claims handling.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with policyholders, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.
