We are currently in search of a proficient Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager to become a vital part of our team. This role will involve overseeing the financial dimensions of construction and fit-out projects, which encompasses budgeting, cost estimation, contract oversight, and financial analysis.

Position Overview


We are looking for a QS/Commercial Manager with a solid history of success to join our seasoned Commercial team.

You will take charge of the financial management of Cat A+B office fit-outs valued up to £10 million. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Design & Build Fit Out projects.


As the QS/Commercial Manager, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the financial viability of our construction and fit-out initiatives, while also fostering positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cost Estimation and Budgeting: You will be tasked with accurately estimating project costs and formulating a budget that delineates anticipated expenses and revenues.
  • Contract Management: You will oversee contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, which includes negotiating terms, ensuring adherence, and resolving disputes.
  • Financial Reporting: You will prepare financial reports that offer insights into the project's financial health, including tracking expenditures, revenues, and profit margins.
  • Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks that could affect the project's financial performance will be part of your responsibilities, including analyzing market conditions and developing contingency strategies.
  • Team Leadership: You may also lead a team of financial professionals, such as cost estimators, financial analysts, and contract administrators.
  • Relationship Building: Engaging with clients during the pre-construction phase to understand their needs and preferences will be essential in crafting tailored proposals.
Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your expertise, our client offers a competitive salary of up to approximately £95,000 per annum, along with commission opportunities.
