We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team in Guildford.

About the Role:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for taking a key commercial role in projects, working closely with the commercial team to ensure successful project delivery.

You will also be required to support junior members of the commercial team, providing guidance and mentorship to help them develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be involved in pre-construction activities, including tendering and contract negotiation.
  • Take ownership of key sub-contractor packages, managing them from procurement through to final account.
  • Undertake Contract Variation Reports (CVRs), reporting to management.

Requirements:

  • Have either a Higher National Certificate (HNC) or a construction-related degree.
  • Have experience managing projects as a commercial lead to the value of £20 million.
  • Be experienced in administering various forms of contract, including JCT and NEC.
