About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse/Associate Nurse Unit Manager to lead our Anaesthetics and PACU team in a 12-month fixed term maternity leave cover position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimise patient safety and ensure the delivery of an exceptional patient and family experience
  • Build a cohesive, patient care centred team and foster a collaborative and high-performing environment
  • Lead and work as part of a collaborative Multi-Disciplinary team
  • Develop and implement quality improvement activities that lead to improved patient care outcomes and patient experience
Requirements
  • Current AHPRA nursing registration
  • Clinical experience in Anaesthetics and Post Anaesthetic Care Unit Nursing
  • Evidence of strong leadership skills and good understanding of workforce planning
  • Highly developed communication, and organisational skills
  • Experience in quality improvement activities and understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
