Electrical Instrumentation Technician Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Instrumentation Technician to join our team at A Select UK Ltd. As an Electrical Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation systems in a fast-paced production plant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair electrical and instrumentation systems, including control systems and electrical distribution networks
  • Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding on electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on electrical and instrumentation equipment
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical issues
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal system performance

Requirements:

  • Good instrumentation control systems experience and knowledge of electrical control systems
  • Good Low Voltage electrical distribution experience
  • Experience and understanding of PLC control equipment and the associated control signals
  • Relevant maintenance experience on equipment related to the electrical equipment and or installed instrument
  • Electrical qualifications or Instrument qualifications (apprenticeship trained, NVQ level 3, ONC in Electrical, Electrical or Instrument & Control Engineering) with a good working knowledge in electrical, instrumentation, instrumentation control
  • HV switching experience would be of interest
  • Hold a current valid UK driving licence and commutable to Hampshire site within an hours drive
