Electrical Instrumentation Technician Job Description

A Select UK is seeking a skilled Electrical Instrumentation Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems in a large production plant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair electrical control systems, including PLC control equipment and associated control signals.
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical distribution systems, including low voltage electrical distribution.
  • Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation control systems, including good instrumentation control systems experience and knowledge of electrical control systems.
  • Work in a team environment to ensure the smooth operation of the production plant.

Requirements:

  • Good instrumentation control systems experience and knowledge of electrical control systems.
  • Good Low Voltage electrical distribution experience.
  • Experience and understanding of PLC control equipment and the associated control signals.
  • Relevant maintenance experience on equipment.

  • An excellent salary package, circa £45k-£51k+ dependant on skills and experience.
