About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a Consultant Psychiatrist in Eating Disorders, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the management of adults with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the management of adults with eating disorders
  • Develop and implement care plans for patients with eating disorders
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies
  • Participate in education and training programs for healthcare professionals

Person Specification

We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with the following qualifications and experience:

  • On Specialist Register with GMC as a specialist in Adult Psychiatry or eligible for CCT within 6 months
  • Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team
  • Teaching and training experience
  • Experience of initiating, progressing and completing audit
