Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Analyst, Retail to conduct a thorough analysis of Retail Store performance, focusing on sales, margin, and operating expenses.
  • Support the Senior Analyst, Wholesale in providing business insights and analysis to inform decision-making, partnering with the Wholesale Sales team to achieve commercial targets.
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and ad-hoc sales and margin reports for the Wholesale and Retail channels.
  • Lead month-end closing activities, including preparation of the profit and loss statement, and submission of the monthly flash report and country reporting books.
  • Contribute to the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and mid-term plans to provide strategic direction.
  • Prepare the Capital Authorization Request (CAR) for proposed new stores and refits for internal review prior to submission to the Investment Committee for approval.
  • Calculate and analyze bonus targets for the Wholesale team.
  • Coordinate with the Head of Retail to set monthly sales commission targets for Retail stores.
  • Design and maintain templates for all reporting and planning activities.

Essential Criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in business control and financial roles.
  • Proficiency in reporting systems and strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Wholesale and/or Retail experience preferred.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Experience with HFM and SAP.
  • Fluency in French.
