Financial Analyst Job Description

Your new company is a luxury wholesaler seeking a Finance Analyst to join their FP&A team. This role requires someone who can start immediately or up to 1-month notice only.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the FP&A Team with month-end and budgeting tasks
  2. Develop business plans and wholesale reports
  3. Update and maintain reporting dashboards for data-driven decision-making
  4. Provide weekly sales reporting
  5. Analyze variances and provide explanations
  6. Develop financial models on Excel
  7. Drive process and system improvement within the FP&A functions
  8. Support both the FP&A and commercial finance teams with ad-hoc requests
Requirements:

You will need to be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with financial analysis experience, ideally in the retail, consumer, eCommerce, or wholesale sector. Large company exposure is beneficial, as this company is set to grow, while SME experience will lend itself to implementation at this critical time of growth and scale-up.
