As part of our Business Services function, the Digital and Data team plays a crucial role in supporting our Commercial and Residential divisions, providing a suite of top-tier services to our clients.

Role Overview:

This position involves the ownership of products related to commercial property market platforms. The role is multifaceted, encompassing supplier management, product innovation, and system oversight, along with advocacy and promotion. It demands a combination of skills in maximizing the business value of technical solutions and a comprehensive understanding of commercial property market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of our Commercial Product Strategy, including monitoring current and prospective Commercial Data Products.
  • Collaborate across various teams to ensure compliance with all licensing agreements.
  • Manage and communicate system challenges, potential enhancements, and procurement efficiencies.
  • Prepare and maintain regular progress reports for senior management.
  • Facilitate consistent communication with users and suppliers, managing key meetings and follow-up actions.
  • Align the Product Strategy with our overarching Business Strategy.

Compliance and Communication:

  • Ensure compliant license management and data usage, addressing any internal escalations.
  • Engage effectively with internal business users and senior stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver suitable solutions.
  • Exhibit the ability to present and communicate with all stakeholders, maintaining visibility and objectivity.
  • Document business processes and requirements with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical users while liaising with technical teams to prioritize enhancements based on business needs.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in managing key supplier relationships.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • In-depth understanding of commercial real estate systems and data platforms.
  • Process-oriented with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and platforms.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced negotiation skills.
  • A collaborative team player who can work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Creative in proposing solutions to complex challenges.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of expertise in commercial property market information, analytics, and marketing data services.
  • Experience as a product owner is preferred.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience in Commercial Property systems, with significant exposure to business processes.

Systems and IT Competencies:

  • Proficient in the full Microsoft Office suite and commercial property market information systems.
