Job Title: Mobile Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mobile Operations Director to lead our Mobile Patrol business unit in the UK. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the Mobile Patrol business unit, ensuring all costs are kept to a minimum and efficiency is maximized.
  • Work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Executive team to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage performance levels, ensuring all staff are fully trained and improving, and managing holidays and HR-related issues.
  • Implement a safety culture within the driving team, ensuring all vehicles are fitted with appropriate tracking and safety solutions.
  • Ensure all processes are followed by Mobile staff, and identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes.
  • Build strong relationships with sub-contractors and design, introduce, and implement new service initiatives.
  • Complete and communicate the monthly roster to ensure Mobile is fully covered, and ensure excellent service delivery from the Mobile Team.
  • Ensure the SmartTask system is fully up to date and accurate at all times, including Runsheets, and ensure all sites have Assignment Instructions and clear guidance on how the Mobile Team needs to carry out their role.
  • Deal with Client requests and changes at short notice promptly and efficiently, and ensure key audits are carried out on a quarterly basis.
  • Monitor and manage all vehicles, and carry out monthly client meetings (or as required) with Mobile clients, ensuring all commercial proposals are sent in a timely manner and updated once approved.
Requirements:
  • SIA License and DBS check.
  • Mobile patrol experience is essential for this role.
  • UK driving licence with less than 6 current points.
  • Exceptional attendance.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, including responding to emails and verbal requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • An ability to work to tight deadlines and to work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of computer programs (MS Office).
