The Role
We are seeking a skilled HGV Tanker Engineer to join our Operational Team in Colchester, working with a well-established team that is looking to expand further with another strong member of staff.
About the Job
You will be working independently operating our high-specification tankering vacuumation units. Your projects will include any drainage-related issues, moving treated and untreated waste product, assisting with remedial works on Anglian Water sites, and emergency reactive works.
Although you will start at the depot, you will be mobile, attending to all work activities within various sectors, including industrial, utility, commercial, and residential. You will be required to travel to different sites, covering jobs throughout the region, which may involve additional travel times.
About You
You may already be familiar with vacuumation tankering works, but no problem if not, as full training will be given for the right candidates.
You will be required to hold an HGV Class 2 licence with no more than 3 penalty points ideally. A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is essential.
You will become a successful Utilities Waste-Water Technician if you have problem-solving, listening, critical thinking, teamworking abilities, and a customer-focused approach. Excellent hand-eye coordination and concentration are also essential skills.
