About the Role


The Lanes Group Plc is seeking a skilled HGV Tanker Engineer to join our Operational Team in Colchester. As a key member of our team, you will operate high specification tankering vacuumation units, working on a range of drainage-related projects, including waste management, remedial works, and emergency reactive tasks.


Key Responsibilities



  • Operate vacuumation tankers and equipment in accordance with company procedures
  • Work independently, with minimal supervision, to complete tasks efficiently
  • Assist with site remediation and emergency reactive works, as required
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including hours worked and materials used
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines

Requirements



  • Valid HGV Class 2 licence with no more than 3 penalty points
  • Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) in HGV Tankering Operations
  • Excellent problem-solving, listening, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Physical fitness and stamina to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with company policies
