About the Role

IDEX Consulting Ltd is seeking a skilled Actuarial Analyst to join our client's GMP Equalisation team. This team has a unique approach to solving complex problems related to GMP and is looking for a technically-minded individual to join their friendly and supportive team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GMP calculations and a desire to grasp complex actuarial concepts. They will be responsible for working with member data, reviewing complex calculations, and communicating results to client teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Member Data Analysis: Work with and understand member data to provide accurate and timely results.
  • Calculation Review: Review complex calculations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Client Communication: Communicate results to client teams and support them as they work through projects.
  • Team Collaboration: Regularly liaise and communicate with the GMP team, client team, and other departments within IDEX Consulting Ltd.
  • Research and Development: Opportunity to get involved in specialist research and development teams in areas of interest.
  • Training and Development: Train and manage more junior colleagues as they embark on their actuarial career.
Requirements
  • Actuarial Knowledge: A keen interest in actuarial concepts, the wider pensions industry, and financial landscape.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
