About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Nicholas Associates. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities across the UK.

Your primary focus will be on general facilities electrical work, including lighting, power, and basic plumbing. You will also be involved in heating and ventilation, boilers, and other maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including lighting and power.
  2. Carry out plumbing tasks, including installation and repair of pipes and fixtures.
  3. Work on heating and ventilation systems, including boilers and other equipment.
  4. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  5. Collaborate with the facilities team to ensure seamless operations and minimize disruptions.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Electrically qualified, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
  2. Plumbing experience, including installation and repair of pipes and fixtures.
  3. A valid F-gas certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  5. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with the facilities team.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary, with opportunities for overtime and earnings of £47,000 and upwards achievable. You will also enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule, with 1 weekend in every 4, and a base salary of £45,000 per annum.
