**Night Receptionist - Rolling week 1 and week 2**

We are looking for night owls that are passionate about great service and being part of a much wider hotel team. You will have a naturally supportive nature and be guest focused. Having a keen eye for detail and being confident to take responsibility for the guests and property overnight, you will thrive in a busy and diverse environment yet be calm under pressure.

Weekend working will be required in this role.

St Mellion Estate is a luxury resort that has two world renowned golf courses, a spa with full leisure and fitness facilities and an 80 plus bedroom hotel with conferencing, wedding and banqueting facilities for up to 500 guests. **About the role..**

As part of the Guest Relations Team, working 4 x 12 hour shifts week one, second week 3 x 12 hour shifts from 19.00pm until 7.00am, we are looking for people who can provide a warm welcome, with genuine empathy and clear communication to all our guests at the start, during and at the end their stay. We want to leave a lasting impression that makes people want to return. You will assist with the smooth running of the reception desk and support with administration and reservations as needed. You will want to make good links with the other departments to create a seamless journey for our guests as well as encouraging guest feedback to support our continuous improvements.

There are different responsibilities overnight with making sure that guest bills are prepared ready for the morning, as well as having a through understanding of the property to provide the security support required. This includes some H&S responsibilities in terms of checks and reporting and so it is important that you can communicate well so that shift procedures and handover requirements can be fulfilled.

Our night reception team become a real support for the delivery of the overall experience at St Mellion and so there is a need to work independently supporting other departments with room set up, clear down, cleaning and some ad hoc maintenance needs when minor problems occur for our guests overnight.

**About you **

As a member of the night reception team, you will have a warm and welcoming personality, be calm under pressure and have flair for delivering exceptional service and clear communications. You will be diligent and pragmatic when dealing with H&S, understanding the importance of compliance.

In order to be successful, we are looking for:

- Appropriate experience within a similar or transferable role
- Highly computer literate
- Strong team ethic
- Exception written and verbal English
- Ability to work independently

It would be an advantage with the following skills and experience:

- Working knowledge of PMS systems
- Experience with working in a high-volume environment
- H&S experience

**Salary**: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
