Private Markets Investment Specialist – Business Development
Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Private Markets Investment Specialist to join our dynamic and expanding team. This role will play a key part in driving the ambitious growth targets for LGIM's Private Markets business.
Your Responsibilities- Leverage your extensive network to identify innovative ideas, market intelligence, and opportunities within key growth areas such as Energy Transition, Impact Investing, Living & Emerging Private Market sectors.
- Lead the delivery of strategic new business projects that align with LGIM's expansion goals in the Private Markets space.
- Develop compelling business proposals for strategic investors and internal stakeholders, showcasing the value proposition of our Private Markets solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Private Markets, providing guidance and insights to both internal and external parties.
- Collaborate closely with LGIM's product and distribution teams to contribute your specialized knowledge to strategic growth projects across various stages (launch, development, or change).
- Actively participate in business planning and project prioritization exercises, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Support the Sales Team in distributing existing and new Private Markets solutions to expand assets under management (AUM) and revenue streams.
- Proven experience working within the real estate, infrastructure, or private equity sectors, ideally in a client-facing or investment role.
- A genuine passion for driving growth projects within the Private Markets landscape.
- Exceptional persuasive writing, business case development, and presentation skills.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Highly organized and adaptable, capable of effectively managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A collaborative team player who can build strong relationships with colleagues, reports, Fund Managers, and Senior Management.
- An unwavering ambition to succeed and contribute to the success of LGIM's Private Markets business.
