As a Secondary Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic journey of students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Curriculum Development and Delivery: Design and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of secondary students.
  • Classroom Management: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student growth and development.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Monitor student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback to support their academic advancement.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to enhance student outcomes.
  • Professional Growth: Actively participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of the school.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England or be actively working towards it.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
  • Experience working with students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 is highly desirable.
  • Creativity in lesson planning and delivery, ensuring learning is engaging and accessible for all students.
  • A willingness to reflect on your practice and continuously seek improvement.
  • An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or be willing to have one processed immediately.
  • Two professional references from recent work placements within the last two years.
