Verisk is seeking a dedicated Technical Program Manager to enhance its expanding Technology division. This pivotal role will oversee, allocate resources, and manage cross-functional oversight for Verisk's technology-driven projects, particularly focusing on our current SaaS platform that delivers risk analytics data, along with its anticipated successor set for development in the near future.
The Technical Program Manager is a strategic role that bridges the Technology team and the broader organization, facilitating Verisk's achievement of its technical goals and Technology Strategy through effective resource management and close collaboration with senior leadership.
We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about a diverse array of technologies and takes pride in delivering high-quality, structured technical solutions.
The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of approximately 24 professionals within the Technology sector at Verisk, contributing to the delivery of innovative solutions that address our clients' current and future requirements. This role is crucial within the organization, working closely with both the Technology team and internal stakeholders.
A solid understanding of agile project management is essential, along with a comprehensive knowledge of software and infrastructure development principles, including modern development practices, version control, security, compliance, and cost management. The role also necessitates the ability to gather requirements across various technical domains and unify teams to ensure the successful execution of Verisk's projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership to implement the company's Technology Strategy, ensuring that Verisk's technical solutions align with established standards and objectives.
- Partner closely with product management and technical leads to define, maintain, and oversee Verisk's development roadmap.
- Manage resource distribution and cross-team collaboration on multidisciplinary projects, actively participating in prioritization and justification discussions.
- Work in tandem with Developers, Project Owners, UX designers, and QA engineers to supervise the release process, including content, dependencies, and timelines.
- Engage with agile development teams to assist in requirements gathering, refinement, and delivery of user-centric enhancements, ensuring effective and concise ceremonies.
- Serve as a liaison for the broader organization and clients with the Technology team to manage risks, expectations, and provide occasional technical support.
- Oversee and coordinate the index data release/update process, collaborating with multiple business functions and acting as the primary contact for mediation activities.
- Manage urgent work requests that require immediate attention.
- Identify and drive opportunities to enhance code quality, development processes, and team satisfaction, advocating for adherence to coding standards and compliance.
