Culinary Specialist

A newly refurbished Grade II Listed Pub is seeking to fill key culinary positions to ensure thorough training and preparation for an exciting new venture.

This establishment aims to enhance dining and entertainment options for both locals and visitors.

SALARY: up to £33,000 pro rata (based on experience) plus a share of discretionary service charge.

LOCATION: Waddesdon, Buckinghamshire (HP18)

WORKING HOURS: Flexible hours up to a maximum of 48 hours per week, on a four-day rota.

Please note: The Kitchen Supervisor role is permanent, while other positions are on an hourly contract basis.

JOB OVERVIEW

We have excellent opportunities for a Culinary Specialist, Kitchen Supervisor, or Food Preparation Expert who possesses experience in a bustling kitchen environment and a genuine passion for culinary arts.

In these roles, you will demonstrate strong attention to detail, outstanding organizational abilities, and the capacity to perform effectively under pressure in a vibrant and fast-paced setting.

As a Culinary Specialist, you will contribute to an organization known for its commitment to high standards of food service.

Successful candidates will play a crucial role in the kitchen's success, assisting in meal preparation for a variety of special occasions, including weddings and daily patrons of the restaurant.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Prior experience as a Culinary Specialist, Kitchen Supervisor, or Food Preparation Expert.
  • Current knowledge of culinary trends and best practices.
  • Depending on the role, provide support to junior kitchen staff and assist the Head Chef.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Dedicated to delivering the highest standards of food service.
