Culinary Specialist - Chef / Sous Chef / Commis Chef / Chef de Partie

A newly refurbished Grade II Listed Pub is on the lookout for talented culinary professionals to fill key positions in preparation for an exciting new venture.

This establishment aims to enhance the dining and entertainment options for both locals and visitors alike.

SALARY: up to £33,000 pro rata (based on experience) plus a share of discretionary service charge.

LOCATION: Waddesdon, Buckinghamshire (HP18)

WORKING HOURS: Flexible hours up to a maximum of 48 hours per week, organized on a four-day rota.

Please note: The Sous Chef position is permanent, while other roles are offered on an hourly contract basis.

JOB OVERVIEW

We have exciting opportunities for a Chef / Sous Chef / Commis Chef or Chef de Partie who possesses experience in a bustling kitchen environment, along with a genuine passion for culinary arts.

In the role of Chef / Sous Chef / Commis Chef or Chef de Partie, you will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the capability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

As a vital member of the kitchen team, you will contribute to maintaining the high standards of food service that the organization is known for.

Your success in this role will be crucial to the kitchen's overall performance, as you will assist in preparing meals for a variety of special occasions, including weddings and daily patrons of the restaurant.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Prior experience as a Chef / Sous Chef / Commis Chef or Chef de Partie.
  • Knowledge of current culinary trends and best practices.
  • Ability to support junior kitchen staff and assist the Head Chef, depending on the role.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Dedication to delivering the highest standards of food service.
