Modirum Defence Consultancy is seeking experienced professionals to contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of Command Information Systems (CIS) solutions for defence organisations.

We are looking for individuals with expertise in solution development and integration at strategic, tactical, and operational levels, as well as experience in defence or military environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Analysis and Design
    • Collaborate with defence clients to assess existing CIS systems, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
    • Evaluate hardware, software, and network components for integration into CIS systems.
    • Assist in selecting appropriate communication protocols, encryption methods, and data exchange formats.
  • Project Management
    • Lead or participate in CIS system implementation projects.
    • Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Security and Cyber Defence
    • Assess and mitigate cybersecurity risks associated with CIS systems.
    • Implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.
  • Training and Documentation
    • Develop training materials and conduct workshops for military personnel on CIS system usage.
    • Create technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, user manuals, and standard operating procedures.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements.
Requirements
  • Experience in defence or military environments, preferably with exposure to CIS systems.
  • Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, etc.).
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science would be an advantage but not mandatory.
